The ServSafe® Certification Workshop provides participants with essential food safety training, including basic food safety principles, personal hygiene practices, cross-contamination prevention and allergen awareness, time and temperature control, and proper cleaning and sanitation procedures. Earning a ServSafe® certification can improve job prospects and create opportunities for career advancement, as many employers prefer or require certified food service professionals, making candidates more competitive in the job market.

Workshops are held on the third Saturday of each month from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Grace Learning Center, located at 1007 W. 8th Street, Michigan City, Indiana. Pre-registration is required, and participants must attend the entire class and successfully complete the exam to receive their certification.
